Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the EduMind app and website. EduMind is operated by The Socials LLC, trading as EduMind, licensed in the Sharjah Media City (SHAMS) free zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, under trade licence number 2430069.01. By creating an account or using EduMind you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
This page is a plain-English summary. The full Terms of Service & Privacy Policy is the agreement that applies to your membership — you can read it in the app under Account → Terms & Privacy. Where this summary and the full agreement differ, the full agreement applies.
1. Who EduMind is for
EduMind is built for teachers and education professionals in the UAE. Some features, including ITIC verification, require you to be working in education, and we may ask you to verify this. You must be 21 or over to hold an account.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account. Tell us at hello@edumind-uae.com if you think someone else has access. You can delete your account at any time in three ways: in the app under Account → Delete Account, on the web at edumind-uae.com/delete-account, or by emailing hello@edumind-uae.com from your account email address with the subject "Delete my account".
3. Membership and payment
EduMind offers a free membership that includes the core wellbeing tools and UAE local offers. EduMind Global + ITIC Access costs AED 180 per year plus 5% VAT, billed annually. Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future terms, never for a term you have already paid for. Payment is taken by Stripe, or by Apple or Google where you buy inside the app; we never see or store your full card details.
4. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time and you will keep access until the end of the term you have paid for. Annual memberships do not renew automatically unless you are told otherwise at the point of purchase. If you bought through the App Store or Google Play, refunds are handled under that store's policy, not ours. Activated memberships, issued third-party cards, redeemed offers and events that have already taken place are generally non-refundable. If you think you are owed a refund, write to hello@edumind-uae.com and we will review it in line with UAE consumer protection law.
5. Offers, partners and the ITIC card
Discounts and offers are provided by independent businesses, not by EduMind. We list them in good faith but we do not control them, and an offer can be withdrawn or changed by the partner. The ITIC card is issued by a third party under its own terms; EduMind facilitates verification but is not the issuer.
6. Wellbeing content is not medical advice
EduMind's wellbeing tools, articles, podcasts and trackers are for general support and self-reflection. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and they are not a substitute for a qualified professional. Practitioners listed in the app are independent and you contract with them directly. If you are in crisis or need urgent help, contact your local emergency services.
7. Acceptable use
Please use EduMind respectfully. Do not post unlawful, harassing, hateful or misleading content, do not impersonate anyone, do not attempt to break or probe our security, and do not scrape or resell our content. We may suspend or remove an account that breaches this.
8. Your content
Anything you post in community spaces stays yours. You give us permission to display it within EduMind so the feature works. We may remove content that breaches these terms or that is reported to us.
9. Your privacy
How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy. Two things are worth repeating here: your wellbeing and mood entries stay on your device and are never sent to our servers or shared with your school, and we do not sell your personal data.
10. Availability
We work to keep EduMind running but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. Features may change or be withdrawn as the product develops.
11. Our liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Beyond that, EduMind is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss of profit or data, or for the acts or omissions of independent partners and practitioners.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use EduMind after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applicable in the Emirate of Sharjah. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates, subject to any mandatory consumer rights.
